Adidas Makes Shoes From Trash

Adidas has partnered with Parley For The Oceans, an environmentalism organization, to create a concept sneaker made out of plastic waste from the sea. Part of the recycled fibers will be taken from the 72km of illegal gillnets captured by The Sea Shepherds, an environmental activism organization, after tracking illegal poachers wanted by Interpol. Although the shoes may or may not be produced, they are symbolic of a giant step in the right direction.
