3 Reasons Why New Toyota Prius Commercial is just Another Ludicrous Ad Clapway

Companies are always trying to come up with the best advertisements possible, but most of them are just ludicrous. A new commercial, which is highlighting the new Toyota Prius, is another one of the ludicrous ad’s I mentioned before. Basically, it starts with a group of guys walking out of a bank after they robbed it. They then had to find a car, and jumped into a Toyota Prius and evaded cops. That is about all it was, and it is as absurd as it sounds.

3 Reasons Why New Toyota Prius Commercial is just Another Ludicrous Ad Clapway

FIRST REASON THE NEW TOYOTA PRIUS COMMERCIAL IS FOOLISH

For whatever reason, beyond my realm of understanding, the bank robbers in the commercial had pink ski masks on. Maybe this was done to add comic relief, but it made them look ridiculous. I mean come on does anyone actually think that bank robbers are going to use pink ski masks? This is an insult to bank robbers, but this leads to our second reason.

SECOND REASON THE NEW TOYOTA PRIUS COMMERCIAL IS FOOLISH

One major question that needs to be asked about this commercial is why is a crime being supported? With all of the commercials about how driving while intoxicated is bad, why is there a commercial that is being released that is promoting grand theft auto, robbery, and evading police officers? This is such a contradictory message, and it makes me question what companies are thinking half the time.

THIRD REASON THE NEW TOYOTA PRIUS COMMERCIAL IS FOOLISH

Why is it that everytime cops are in movies, or commercials, they are completely stupid. There were dozens of police cars in this video, and not one could stop this car. Do companies really think that cops are that stupid in real life, or do they do this to poke fun at them? Let’s be honest, while this commercial does entertain, it is simply too ludicrous to be considered a success.
