Macy’s To Help Homeless, Will Kohl’s Follow?

Cold Weather Home Insulation Problems and How To Solve Them Macy's To Help Homeless, Will Kohl's Follow? Clapway

Macy’s recently decided to partner with Operation Prom, which is a non-profit organization, to help homeless, sick, and disabled teens attend their proms at little to no cost. Operation Prom has been doing this for years, and now Macy’s is going to join them. So, this leads the question now that they have done this, will Kohl’s follow? Now, it should be noted that Kohl’s has rewarded community volunteers in the past for their hard work.

MACY’S CARES ABOUT PROM

Stephanie Muehlhausen, the vice president of millennial for Macy’s, had a chance to speak out about this partnership. She noted how they wanted to ensure that each girl looks as gorgeous as she can for their prom. The partnership with Operation Prom also allows them to fulfill the dreams of girls in need, she continues to say. It is clear that Macy’s truly cares about this matter, and this is a truly incredible partnership.

KOHL’S RECOGNIZES COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS

Back in 2001, Kohl’s created a program called the Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program. What this program does is recognize kids worldwide for their positive impact on communities. They reward these volunteers with prizes and scholarships, and since 2001, they have rewarded well over 2,000 kids with more than $4 million in prizes and scholarships.

WILL KOHL’S DO SOMETHING LIKE MACY’S HAS DONE?

Everyone knows that both of these great companies care about their communities. However, it will still be interesting to see if Kohl’s strikes up a partnership like Macy’s did. The former has already proved their willingness to reward kids for their unselfishness, but there is always room for them to do more. Maybe they can follow in Macy’s footsteps and help out the homeless and disabled with their proms. It’s not like people are going to look down at them for not doing this, but they could further prove their dedication to helping young people.
