Android to Beat iPhone 7

Android to Beat iPhone 7  Clapway

The battleground for the latest wave of smartphones is looking to be an intense one. After releasing their fairly mediocre iPhone 6, Apple needs to step up their game if they want any chance of competing with Android devices like the Samsung S7. However, if the iPhone 7 is anything like the products Apple introduced at their special media event this past week, consumers should expect a letdown.

iPHONE 7 NEEDS TO BE SPECTACULAR

If Apple really wants to compete with Android devices this year, the iPhone 7 can not be anything short of spectacular and by spectacular, this means equal to Android. The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus weren’t necessarily bad devices, but they lacked features that many users felt are needed. These features that the iPhone 7 are said to have, are not anything new. They are just features that the Android has been doing for months or years.

ANDROID HAS BEEN BETTER FOR A WHILE

What many Apple users want is an iPhone 7 that is waterproof, quick to charge, durable and has a long battery life. These are hardly any groundbreaking attributes. A number of Android devices have had features like this for a while now. For example, the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 has around 48 hours of battery life and can survive a 900-foot drop. Sony, Samsung and HTC all have a completely waterproof device as well. So, even if iPhone 7 comes out with all these additions, it still won’t be anything groundbreaking. Thankfully for Apple, their fans could care less.

APPLE FANS WILL ALWAYS BE APPLE FANS

Regardless of how amazing or lackluster, the latest iPhone is, sales probably will not be affected. Will there be a better device on the market? Most likely, but one wouldn’t be able to tell the difference from a profit standpoint. No matter what upgrades the new iPhone has, Apple will shatter their old sales regards and their fans will eat it all up. The iOS system has a history of keeping users and not the other way around. This trend will likely continue unless Apple does something extremely stupid to turn off the millions of loyal fans they have nestled in their pocket.
