iPhone 7 is Just Like iPad Pro: 5 Things You Didn’t Know

iPhone 7 is Just Like iPad Pro: 5 Things You Didn’t Know Clapway

Apple’s newest smartphone is expected to offer up some exciting new features. Who knew that it was so heavily inspired by its big tablet brother? The impressive hardware additions from the iPad Pro are said to be a big part of the iPhone 7’s facelift. Here are five things you may not have know about it.

1. iPAD PRO DISPLAY MAKING IT’S WAY TO IPHONE 7

The iPad Pro’s display was met with record high results in a wealth of categories. Initial tests indicated low screen reflection, a high brightness and contrast rating and colour variation that was just about perfect. It would be foolish not to transfer these high marks to the iPhone 7, and many believe that is exactly what Apple plans to do.

2. TRUE TONE MAY BE ADDED

Apple’s True Tone feature on the iPad Pro has certainly turned some heads. The feature works by changing the amount of white light on the display according to the environment of the user. Sensors in the device are upgraded so colour and brightness can be measured. Expect to see this on the iPhone 7.

3. WATERPROOF SMARTPHONE

Before you go throwing your iPad Pro in the bathtub, listen up. The tablet is not waterproof, however, thanks to a YouTube video testing that notion, some inspiration may be afoot. Seeing as other devices are starting to go the underwater route, Ukranian designer Herman Haidin has started to investigate the possibility of a waterproof iPhone 7.

4. CAMERA UPGRADES

When the first iPad came out, there wasn’t even a camera to complain about. Now, as more people seem to be using their tablets and smartphones to take pictures, a demand for increased technology has been heard by Apple. The latest 9.7 inch iPad features 12 megapixels, a faster aperture lens and an intense A9X processer. Following in its footsteps, the newest iPhone is expected to get a camera upgrade as well featuring dual lens.

5. BATTERY LIFE

Battery life has always been a conflict of interest for smartphone users. With devices like Amazon’s Oasis coming out with 20-month battery life, it’s safe to say the people want some answers. While hardly comparable to the Oasis, the latest iPad Pro gets a respectable 10-hour ‘all day’ charge. Rumour has it that Apple will take the iPhone 7 one step further. The company might be embedding solar panels underneath the touchscreen, effectively eliminating the need for a charge at all. Hold on to your lightning cables just in case, though.
