VENEZUELA’S MISS UNIVERSE ADMITS TO DARK PAST

While Alicia Machado won the Miss Universe pageant back in the 1990’s, her name is still relevant today. Unfortunately for her, the headlines are negative. When asked about her attempted murder in 1998 of a judge, she simply stated that “everybody has a past” and she’s “not a saint”. Furthermore, accusations are piling up to say Machado helped a murderer escape in Venezuela.

MISS UNIVERSE DRIVES GETAWAY CAR IN VENEZUELA

Besides the attempted murder and public humiliation by Donald Trump (more on that later) the strange past of Miss Universe continues. Allegedly, Machado drove a getaway car after her then boyfriend shot and killed a man in Venezuela, 1998. It’s this incident that ties into the threatened murdered of the investigating judge. Machado denies such claims and if that’s not bad enough, now she has to deal with Trump.

TRUMP VS. VENEZUELA MISS UNIVERSE

For those wondering why Machado is even in the headlines these days, it has to do with Donald Trump. Trump and Machado have an interesting relationship dating back to her pageant days. Apparently, after winning, Machado gained a little weight. This led to someĀ fat shaming by Trump. Trump threw around names such as “Miss Piggy” and “Miss Housekeeping”. Hence, Machado is now once again in the spotlight and so is her dark past. Despite all her legal troubles, Machado somehow became a U.S. citizen. She made a point to say she won’t vote for Donald Trump. That’s no big surprise but will her dark past hurt Hillary Clinton at all?
