SpaceX will Build Papa Johns Pizzeria on Mars

Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, plans to launch a million people to Mars in the chance of an Earth apocalypse. That sounds crazy but it gets even wilder. Musk wants to make this an affordable endeavor, costing roughly $200,000 or less per person. With prices this low, he might as well stick a Papa Johns up there too.

SPACEX OUTLINES PLAN TO COLONIZE MARS; PAPA JOHNS COMING

On September 27th, SpaceX outlined their plan to colonize Mars. In the plan, Musk covered everything from a transport system from planets, rockets, spaceships, fuel pods to other essential tasks. Even with all that information, Musk didn’t even go into the vast logistics of the plan. He saved that one for a Reddit AMA where his fans asked the important questions.

SPACEX FOUR-STEP MARS PLAN TO INCLUDE PAPA JOHNS

During the Reddit AMA, a fan asked Musk about refueling operations. To answer, Musk said SpaceX has a four phase colonization plan. For one, a series of Mars scouting missions are set to take place by 2018. In addition to searching for water, they will look for a place to drop off the full-scale fuel factory. From there, the first crewed mission will make their appearance on the planet. Then, the final phase is to colonize. With a plan so seemingly simple, Musk makes it seem that Papa Johns and Starbucks will cover the Red Planet in that time.

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR SPACEX TO BRING PAPA JOHNS TO MARS?

Even with all the new details Musk outlines, there is still some gaping holes to fill. It’s not as easy as just showing up and building a Papa Johns fueled society. There’s an extreme amount of testing and, of course, money needed. Some think that Musk’s plan is nothing but a pipedream. An outrageous publicity stunt to sell more Teslas. However, other scientists believe colonizing the red planet is certainly possible, albeit a bit ambitious. Hence, we have nothing to do but wait and see what “madman Musk” does next.
