Travel to Paris this week and get a taste of the most recent collections from some of the most interesting and talented designers working today. This is Paris Fashion Week’s Fall 2015/2016 event.
Paris Fashion Week is a clothing trade show held biannually in Paris, France with spring/summer and autumn/winter events held each year. Dates are determined by the French Fashion Federation and the Fashion Week Event is currently held in the Carrousel du Louvre, as well as at various other venues throughout the city as announced.
If you want to travel to Paris, now would be a good time. The weather is slowly getting warmer and the Parish Fashion Week Show is a terrific event to visit. Loads of style, pop and entertainment is always to be expected. Just today, for example, Derek Zoolander made a special appearance on the Valentino runway that had attendees stunned by the mere presence of his hypnotizing runway walk. This is a glimpse of what is sure to come our way in 2016 with the release of Zoolander 2. Be on the lookout because Hansel also showed up. Even Game of Throne’s Gwendoline Christie Walked the Paris runway.
All humor aside, the Paris Fashion Week is part of the global “Big 4” fashion weeks, the others being London Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week. The schedule begins with New York, followed by London, and then Milan and ends in Paris.

This year Japanese designers have been making a splash. Junya Watanabe explored three-dimensional geometry. The founder and designer of Comme des Garçons, Rei Kawakubo, worked on the theme of the ceremony of separation, she showed the rituals and attire of mourning in a strange, ethereal collectionhaving a deep emotional impact on some of the attendees. Yohji Yamamoto contrasted the simplicity and ease of Grecian draping with wild architectural pieces.
You can also expect some of the most eye catching and designer clothes coming out of the fashion show such as Hermés, Nina Ricci and Adam Andrascik.
Attend the event, parties and fun because this year the celebrations run high.
