Ultra Music Festival Releases Commemorative Video

The Ultra Music Festival is celebrating its seventeenth iteration by commemorating spring break goers, electronic music enthusiasts, artists, and collaborators in a short 8 minute film that covers what the premiere American born, international bred music festival has achieved in the past year before the annual party begins again this year in 2015.

The festival spans over 3 days in sunny Miami in Bayfront Park – over next Friday, the 27th to Sunday, the 29th. Founded in 1999 by CEO Russel Falbisch and ex-business partner, now deceased, co-founder Alex Omes, the festival has now crossed international waters and been introduced in many countries including: Ibiza, Spain; Buenos Aires, Argentina; São Paulo, Brazil; Santiago, Chile; Seoul, South Korea; Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa, Split, Croatia and Hvar, Croatia. The video released yesterday already has around 30,000 views on YouTube, but will undoubtedly grow in upcoming days.

Dubbed “Destination Ultra”, the video features many collaborators and mega electronic music stars like Armin Van Buren, Kaskade, Steve Madden, Fredde Le Grand, and Carl Cox to name a few, commenting on how the small Miami festival has ballooned into a towering force of electronic music fans, including a global family of artists, concert goers, and dancers.

Filmed in HD, the visually stunning video has highlights of the past global tour last year in 2014. The video shows hundreds of thousands of enthused global bass lovers and ravers across the world, directly in their element, while a background track “Memories” – by famous artist, Laidback Luke featuring Project 46 – plays.

One of the messages that artists push in the video is the family environment of Ultra. Part of what electronic music and the so-called “Rave Culture” provides is acceptance of all people, and the togetherness of all involved, focused around the music. The Ultra family members are highlighted in the video, adorning traditional crazy garb and fantastic dance moves and props to their home countries.

The fast approaching Ultra Music Festival will undoubtedly be carrying in the summer season with new tracks, new artists, new performances, and new adventures. Tickets for the upcoming festival can be bought at their website.
