Holiday Resort In Longford Will Create Jobs

Center Parcs is looking to expand its current resort empire by building a new holiday resort in Longford, Ireland. The idea is to help provide visitors with great accommodations as well as boost the economy by providing the surrounding communities with jobs. Up to 500 jobs could be created if all goes as planned with the new resort’s construction.

Having a great holiday resort in Longford would help boost the tourism to the area as well as give the economy here a much needed boost. The construction process alone could easily help provide 600 jobs over the next two to three years while it would be going on. The resort would then continue to provide great jobs for many years to come. Center Parcs is one of the most successful holiday resort businesses in the United Kingdom, with five holiday resorts that are village based and a successful revenue of over €400 million to date. There has been a lot of discussion as to what the project would cost, and the total so far is for a deal of more than €100 million. Center Parcs is currently in the process f gaining permission to continue with their planned proposal. They are doing this through their continuous discussions with the Longford County Council and its CEO Tim Caffrey.

The new holiday resort in Longford, if successful, would provide a truly beautiful getaway for anyone looking for a vacation. It would be a truly massive resort, with over 200 lodges and rooms to choose from.

There would also be fantastic accommodations for its visitors, such as a swimming pool complex, and spas to relax in as well as many restaurants and bars to take advantage of all of the phenomenal local Irish cuisine. There is great anticipation on both sides of the isle here for there to be an agreement on the construction proposal. The town of Longford and the Centre Parcs Corporation would both benefit from such a deal. The jobs that the resort would provide to the community would be invaluable and help bring in a much needed source of outside economic stimulation. It would also provide Centre Parcs with great advertising, and would help boost its reputation across the United Kingdom.

An official announcement is expected to be made on Thursday based on what officials from the town of Longford and representatives of Center Parcs have currently discussed. This great concept for the holiday resort in Longford is soon to become a reality. The town of Longford is anxiously awaiting to hear what decision will be made, as it could greatly affect the future of their beautiful town.

One of the concerns with this construction is the destruction of the surrounding forests and wildlife. Centre Parcs is going to be making an effort to maintain as much of the surrounding wildlife and nature as possible, while still providing a great space for visitors to relax and enjoy the Irish landscape. The State Forestry board has also been in many talks with Centre Parcs to determine what the impact could be of the proposed holiday resort in Longford. There is much to be decided and much to be seen in the future of this project.
