Abercrombie & Kent Offering Luxurious Private Jet Travel Journeys

Destinations along this private jet travel route

The A&K tour will commence on October 17, 2016, and will run for 26 days, ending on November 11. The primary mission of this luxurious journey is to allow for customized travel to locales that aren’t easily reached through large commercial flights. The journey begins in Miami, Florida, from where travelers will reach Iquitos, Peru by their private jet. After sailing for three nights on the Amazon River, customers will board a 3,000-mile flight to the Easter Island in the southeastern Pacific Ocean. Subsequently, stops at Samoa (balmy, tropical beaches), Papua New Guinea (ancient tribes), Bali, Sri Lanka, Madagascar and Kenya will be made. On the last night, guests will arrive in Monaco to attend a farewell dinner gala party at the residence of Geoffrey Kent, founder and CEO of the travel company.

Potential highlights of the private A&K journey

The apparent theme of the tour is, very simply, rediscovery of the world’s exotic lands and astounding natural habitats. Since the travel route by private jet is only open to 50 guests, the atmosphere of engagement is bound to be very relaxed and intimate. There is a wholly educational aspect to the tour as well — travelers will be aided by naturalist guides and local experts as they explore indigenous landscapes and foreign cultures. There will be fauna sightings within the dense Amazon jungle, interaction with a festive dance troupe in Samoa and with local tribes in Papua New Guinea, a visit to a renowned tea factory in Sri Lanka, and an encounter with lemurs on Madagascar.

The travel company has roots in Africa. Geoffrey Kent founded the company with his parents in 1962, aiming to provide adventurers with authentic yet entirely comfortable travel experiences around the continent. After 1969, Kent and his partners decided to expand the reach beyond Africa, and eventually opened management locations in more than 20 destinations, becoming the world’s largest network of luxury travel management companies. Now, it seems, it will spearhead the ingenious global touring method.
