FINALLY A SHATTERPROOF SCREEN

The New Droid Turbo 2 phone from Motorola has been said to be built with a feature called Moto ShatterShield which is the worlds very first shatterproof display. Motorola describes the Moto ShatterShield as an integrated system consisting of five layers designed from materials that absorb shock from impact and are guaranteed not to shatter. Motorola went on to describe that they have a warranty for this shatterproof display just in case users find a loophole. Motorola states, “The display and embedded lens are warranted against shattering and cracking for four years from the original date of purchase; scratches or other damage to the protective lens is not covered by this warranty, but should always be in place to prevent scratches and other damage to the underlying components.” Motorola also stated on top of this amazing shatterproof screen, that the Droid Turbo 2 is also said to have a ridiculous battery life of 48 hours on a single charge and is also stated to be able to generate 13 hours of battery life within 15 minutes of charging.

WHAT TOOK THIS SO LONG?

With as long as cell phones have been around and with as many people that have complained about phones breaking in the past, it is shocking to think that it took this long for this revelation to occur. Now understandably, it is possible that the technology simply did not exist at the time, but with how fast technology moves today I simply doubt it. It is very shocking that building a shatterproof screen took as long as it did. However, with this revelation it might as well be certain that other phone companies will follow in the same footsteps and make a shatterproof screen. It is impossible for phones not to be accidentally dropped by users because of how easy it is to do and that is why this was so important. Now if someone throws this new shatterproof Droid on the ground with aggression I imagine it will still shatter, but this new device should solve the problem of screens constantly shattering and breaking. At least that will be the hope for Motorola and all of their users.
