NINTENDO WAS SMART TO PUSH BACK STAR FOX ZERO

According to Nintendo, Star Fox Zero was originally slated to be released in 2015 in time for the holiday season, but they decided to push back the game and do more work on it. Nintendo has released a trailer for the new and improved Star Fox Zero and it looks like they made the right decision on waiting to release it. This new Star Fox game is set to be much more like the critically acclaimed Star Fox 64 then the previous two versions of Star Fox; which were Star Fox Adventures and Star Fox Assault. The trailer that Nintendo released showed a main focus being on the Arwing and that is what Star Fox fans want to hear. Nintendo has stated that they plan on utilizing the Wii U’s Gamepad more than they have in previous games. Star Fox Zero will also be the first true Star Fox game since 2005. Fans have been craving another game as the Wii failed to produce one. Patience has been a virtue for all Star Fox fans as the anticipation for this game has most likely been driving them through a wall.

JUST WHAT THE WII U NEEDED

Nintendo has made no secret about it that they are working on their newest console, but that did not mean the Wii U did not need a game like this. There are only a handful of games that would have been more anticipated and needed for the Wii U than a new Star Fox game. Fox McCloud is one of Nintendo’s most illustrious mascots and he desperately needed a new game. Star Fox Zero is a game that will launch with as much excitement as any game will in 2016. Hopefully, Nintendo does not decide to push this game back again because I do not think fans can take the wait any longer. Star Fox Zero is no doubt just what the Wii U needed to get back in the swing of things, but with Nintendo’s newest console being rumored it might be too late.
