Windows 10 Loses Battle Against Apple iOS, Again

Windows 10 loss

Microsoft released its most considerable update yet for Windows 10 in November, but the software update isn’t bug-free. In fact, it seems that Microsoft pulled out the November build because of numerous bugs, one of them being that Windows 10 was deleting apps without users’ permission.

This Comes as a Surprise For Very Few People

The fact that the latest OS can automatically delete apps shouldn’t be a surprise, as Microsoft did reveal early on that Windows 10 will have this unique ability, especially when it comes to deleting illegal applications and games. But Windows 10 is also deleting applications that crash the system following the November update. Numerous customers have currently complained about the problem on Microsoft’s forums, highlighting particular apps that appear to trigger the issue, like CPU-Z and Speccy and the AMD Catalyst Control Center.

Microsoft Maintains that This is For Safety, But Bug Fixes Are Coming

A Microsoft spokesperson declared that the Microsoft Services Agreement allows Microsoft to change or adjust particular apps and content where it sees a threat to the user, which is why it will delete any pirated content and any holes in security that put customers at risk. However, it looks like the latest Windows 10 update is taking things a little too far

This is Not the Only Bug Raising Concerns

Windows 10 release 1511 (the November update) has a couple of various other bugs that could have encouraged Microsoft to silently pull itL: machines that wake up immediately after being put on sleep mode, excessive processor usage by the Mail app, the lock screen not covering the entire desktop and many others.

While this isn’t the end of the world, it’s clear that the latest Windows 10 was not as amazing as advertised. Users can now find different ways to regress to the July version of Windows 10, or can carry on with the current update as big fixes start to roll out.
