2. Save Birds Climate CHange 2

Climate change is affecting all people in this world, but it also is affecting the birds. A report that was released by the BirdLife International proved that global warming is diminishing the amount of food that birds have. They also recorded that it is pushing them outside of their normal habitats and making their lives more vulnerable.

CLIMATE CHANGE DESTROYING BIRDS

The BirdLife International also went on to give some specific examples of birds that are affected by climate change. They mention how in Hawaii there are songbirds that are increasingly in danger. They say that this is due to the fact that the malaria-carrying mosquitoes are ascending in the skies because of the warming temperatures. The next bird they talked about was the Atlantic Puffin. They mention how they are dying due to starvation because of the warming waters affecting their fish. Overall, they predict that many birds will endure distribution shifts and will have an increasing risk of extinction.

WHAT PEOPLE CAN DO TO SAVE BIRDS FROM CLIMATE CHANGE

The members of the BirdLife International did provide viable solutions to help this epidemic of climate change. One of the things they mention is to make it personal. Making a situation personal will make people want to help more, it is just the way it works. Watching the birds nests was another solution given to give them more of a chance at survival. The last big one they mention is to just protect the habitat. People need to stop loitering and polluting the air. If this happened, the effects of global warming may go down significantly.

THE CHALLENGE OF CLIMATE CHANGE REAL

Climate change is a problem and it can not be denied anymore. Anyone who denies is it denying themselves the truth of the situation. It is not only affecting us, it is affecting birds as well. The world needs to make a better stand against climate change and global warming in general.
