South Korea has certainly made no bones about the fact that they believe in fuel-cell vehicles. The trade and environment industries over there mention how they want to get 9,000 fuel-cell cars on the road within the next five years. In the next 15 years, they said they would like to have over 600,000 on the road. Also, they state that by 2020 South Korea will see 20 percent of its new cars with low-emission.

It seems Honda is going to get in on the fun of fuel-cell technology as well. The Honda FCX is listed on Honda’s website to be coming in 2016. They list the incredible technology inside their new automobile. This will be an electric powered car that will emit zero emissions. The company states this will help slow down the increase of greenhouse gases. They also will feature a new fuel cell stack for enhanced performance. For safety, the Honda FCX will have a Vehicle Stability Assist and a Collision Mitigation Braking System.

Hyundai already has a vehicle with the fuel-cell technology available to the public. On their website, the Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell car can be leased for $499 a month for 36 months with $2,999 due at signing. The company states that this is the first mass-produced fuel cell vehicle and that it is as futuristic and safe as any car in the world. Water is the only emission from the Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell car. Safety is a huge factor with this vehicle as it has a carbon-fiber wrapped fuel tank along with designed safety systems. Hyundai promises that this is one of the safest vehicles on the road.

Toyota is yet another company that wants to make vehicles that use fuel-cell technology. They say that the power of hydrogen is being harnessed.
