Every single Resident Evil fan in the world is going to be excited about the recent announcement from Capcom. They have revealed that Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 are all going to be remastered on the Xbox One and PS4.
Remastered versions of previous games are always nice to see, and given how much acclaim this series has received in the past, this instance is no different. With this recent announcement, there are a few things that you should keep in mind.
NUMBER 1: WHEN TO EXPECT THESE GAMES
Now that you know these games are being remastered on the Xbox One and PS4, you are probably wondering when you can expect them. Resident Evil 6 is going to kick things off, and Xbox One and PS4 gamers can expect this on March 29th. The fifth entry of the franchise will come after this, and is expected to be released sometime in the summer. Lastly, Resident Evil 4 will be released sometime in the fall. However, these are not going to be physical releases. Instead, they are only going to be available digitally. This is a little bit of a letdown, but physical versions of the games may be in the works.
NUMBER 2: THE PRICE
These games are not going to be as expensive as a normal retail game would be. Instead, all of these games are only going to be $20 on the Xbox One and PS4 to purchase. This is a very reasonable price, and it should be nabbed up by all Resident Evil Fans.
NUMBER 3: HOW GOOD THESE GAMES WERE
All three of these Resident Evil games were well received, with the fourth version being the uncrowned king. Given how remastered games are supposed to make the previous installment better, who knows how good these games are going to be when you play them on your Xbox One and PS4!
