Mercedes AMG E 43: 5 Things You Didn’t Know

Mercedes AMG E 43: 5 Things You Didn’t Know Clapway

A new supercar has hit the road and it’s not for the faint of heart. The Mercedes AMG 3 43 4Matic was just revealed and as per usual with the German car maker, it looks astonishing. Besides its aesthetics, the AMG E 43 has more than enough under the hood and in the cabin to keep you busy. Here are just a few things to start.

1. THE MERCEDES AMG E 43 4MATIC HAS 9G TRONIC

Thay may look like a bunch of numbers and letters to some, but 9G Tronic automatic transmission is quite a feature. It allows the car to reduce the shift time of the 9-speedtransmission. This has all been done through a dedicated software made by the developers at Mercedes.

2. DRIVERS CAN CHOOSE BETWEEN THREE DRIVING MODES

Gone are the days of simply driving  your car. Now, we have options. With this Mercedes, drivers can choose between three modes: Comfort, Sports, and Sports Plus. Be careful with the last two, they say once you go Sport, you’ll never go back.

3. THE AMG E 43 IS ECO-FRIENDLY

For those that aren’t quite daredevils, there is an ECO mode and Comfort mode. Designed for family driving, these modes save energy and make for a quiet comfortable ride.

4. IT HAS FOUR WHEEL DRIVE

That’s right, this badass sedan can go offroad. Not to say you should take it for a spin in the rugged Australian Outback quite yet, but it will be able to handle rough road conditions with ease. Pair this with dynamic sports suspension, and you’ll hardly notice what the road looks or feels like.

5. THIS SUPER CAR IS STRONG

Looks can be deceiving, but they don’t call it a supercar for nothing. The 4 wheel drive alone should show you the power this car has but in addition to that, it has torque distribution that could compete with some trucks. We’re talking 31% by 69% in the front and rear axle. This Mercedes is hardly for the business commuter, it’s got some real grit to it. Even with all this strength, the Mercedes AMG E43 4Matic is still one of the more efficient, and lightweight cars on the market.
