First, there was the Google Terminator and now we have a Samsung Galaxy Robot? Stock up on the beans, hide your wife, hide your kids, the android army is coming and judgement day is upon us! Next thing you know, Apple iPhone crab drones will be scurrying along the ground, infiltrating our government establishments, feeding information to their home on Planet 9. Where’s Schwarzenegger when you need him?
SAMSUNG GALAXY GETS ROBOT ARM, IS APPLE IPHONE NEXT?
Thanks to Origibot, the world now has a Telepresence robot with a gripping arm. While this may seem like a cool feature at first, soon enough Apple will get one for the iPhone and we’ll have a world filled with robot armed smartphones. For the time being, though, Origin will attempt to help us to gain our trust. It will do this by pairing with our Samsung Galaxy phone or android tablet. Support for Apple iPhone’s may be on the way. From there, the Origibot connects from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. With WebRTC technology, the interface is simple and lightweight, as well as fast and responsive. Included with two-way audio and video, you can fully control the robotic moveable platform, arm, and gripper. Use the Samsung Galaxy robot to lock the dog, feed the doors and cover a blanket with your kids. It’s can’t fix your writing mistakes, though.
IT’S FULLY HACKABLE
While this is advertised as a feature, Origibot’s hackability could be cause for concern. The robot was built from the ground up using, off-the-shelf components. All the custom components were 3D printed and the .stl files will be available for download so you can modify the replacements yourself. Users can customize commands and tweak parameters. This seems lovely, but what happens if it gets into the wrong hands. Better yet, what happens when the robots learn to program themselves. Will Samsung Galaxy become self-aware? Will they start a genocide against Apple iPhone’s’? More realistically, they will be minions for the more powerful Google Terminator.
GOOGLE TERMINATOR TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD
Using the Samsung Galaxy druids as it’s army, the humanoid Google Terminator will take over the world soon enough. Boston dynamics is upset they got dumped by Google. What have they been doing this whole time? Well, just like a comic supervillain, they have been locked up, honing their craft. Boston Dynamic will release their Terminator to the world. First, they’ll get revenge on Google, then destroy Apple and all their iPhone’s. Once that is complete, the Terminator will have no more use for Boston Dynamics. They will turn on their creator and then kill off the rest of us, lowly humans. Those that survive, will be prepared. Heinz beans on sale at Costco right now. Just saying.
