Tesla Head is in Love with Mark Zuckerberg Clapway

When it comes to the battle of good and evil in the technological realm, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are usually at opposite ends of the spectrum. However, it seems they may not be as different as we thought. The Tesla CEO has been inspired by Facebook’s innovations in artificial intelligence and seeks to follow suit.

TESLA DITCHES CARS FOR BUTLERS

Tesla CEO Elon Musk and other leaders of the artificial intelligence outfit Open AI have announced they are working on a physical robot that will perform basic housework. They believe that learning algorithms will eventually be reliable enough to create a robot butler of sorts. It will perform tasks simply by speaking to it and even ask for clarification if it doesn’t understand the request. Although Tesla’s Musk seems rather optimistic about the technology, he still has fear. To him, A. I. might be the biggest threat to existentialism yet.

MARK ZUCKERBERG TO BUILD ROBOT NANNY

Mark Zuckerberg has a personal challenge for 2016. He wants to build a robot to look after his house and his newborn daughter. Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg have been working hard on AI systems as of late. Plans to introduce computers that recognize contents of pictures to  show them properly on Facebook are well underway but some scientists are an expressing concern.

WILL TESLA STOP MARK ZUCKERBERG FROM WORLD DOMINATION?

As much as Elon Musk admires Mark Zuckerberg and his AI advancements, Tesla has fears for the future that the latter doesn’t really see. Between, Musk, Stephen Hawking and other renowned scientists, there seems to be a serious concern for the future of humanity. It’s quite possible that A.I will have too much power. That doesn’t mean a “Terminator” situation is imminent but it could have a drastic effect on humanity. An effect that Zuckerberg doesn’t seem all that worried about. He believes A.I could be controlled and that people are simply fear mongering. Yeah, that’s exactly what they said in Terminator too. Jokes aside, it may be time for a serious discussion on the matter to take place. If A.I is going to have a place in society, it must be balanced with that of humanity.
