Tesla Will Be The First Car on Mars in 2030

Tesla Will Be The First Car on Mars in 2030 Clapway

Tesla dominates their market and for good reason. It doesn’t even seem they can improve. However, they somehow found a way. CEO Elon Musk said on Wednesday that the company is about to announce huge improvements for its Autopilot technology. Perhaps this is all part of Musk’s plan to conquer Mars by 2030.

NASA’S MISSION TO MARS MIGHT INCLUDE TESLA

NASA is currently developing the technology to send humans to Mars in the 2030s. For more than 40 years, robots have roamed the red planet. However, the space agency thinks it’s time for human exploration. From afar, it looks like a red, desolate wasteland but the martian environment is a rich area for science. There, we can help to comprehend our own presence in the solar system. The red planet has a similar formation and evolution compared to Earth and its current state will help us figure out the future of Earth. One might be thinking what Tesla, an electric car company, would want to do with any of that.

TESLA TO JOIN NASA ON MARS

For those that don’t know, SpaceX is a private company headed by CEO Elon Musk. They’ve successfully launched and landed rockets over the years and now, SpaceX has entered an agreement with NASA for a mission to Mars. Allegedly, this could happen as soon as 2018. Known as the ‘Red Dragon’, the craft will be launched by the Falcon Heavy rocket, ending with a soft landing on the red planet. Furthermore, the mission will be part of an agreement with the space agency to get further data on Martian landings.

TESLA TO TAKE OVER MARS; NASA IS OBSOLETE

Tesla and the U.S. space agency are working together now, but soon, Musk will own the solar system. Elon Musk has serious plans to buy SolarCity, one of the world’s largest solar power companies. He doesn’t just want to power Earth with the sun but power his future space trips as well. Musk has also expressed interest in the colonization of the red planet and you can bet he’ll bring SolarCity with him. Conquering the roads is not nearly enough for Musk. The sky is the limit and then some.
