The popularity that WhatsApp has gained during its tenure is absolutely amazing.
There is no doubt that all of the members at Facebook are completely thrilled with the success of the software. Ever since the day that they were bought by Facebook, they have reached a new level of success.
REASON 1
In a recent post on Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg announced that one billion people are now using WhatsApp. Once you take into consideration how many people that is, you should have to pick your jaw up from off the floor. Zuckerberg also stated how there are only a select few of services that have ever had that many users. One billion users is a benchmark that the company probably did not think would ever be accomplished. Boy, did Facebook do wonders for WhatsApp?
REASON 2
Gmail, the ultra-popular email service, is another service that has received at least one billion users. So, why should Facebook care about this? How about the fact that Gmail is the greatest emailing software on this planet, and WhatsApp almost has the same amount of users. That is saying a lot for them, and Facebook should hold their chests out high for that.
REASON 3
In another blog post, members of WhatsApp actually noted how many people are using their service. Yes, it was announced that one billion users are, but they put that in perspective. They noted how one in seven people are using WhatsApp to communicate to their family, friends, and loved ones. That number needs to really be taken in because that is truly awe inspiring. As a matter of fact, it is almost hard to imagine that this is a fact. Even though one in seven people may not sound like that many at first, once you start adding it up it will be. Keep on going strong WhatsApp, because right now you are on top.
