Google Android: 5 Crazy Experiments That Will Blow Your Mind  Clapway
Android

Google is playing mad scientist these days with their Android. Last year the company launched a site promoting some crazy experiments for the OS. We are just starting to see the fruits of these wacky creations. Here are five of them that will blow your mind.

1. METER FOR ANDROID

Meter is a beautiful looking wallpaper that goes far beyond style. It’s a live and data-driven wallpaper that displays battery life, wireless signal and notifications all in one streamlines visual. Unnecessary? Perhaps. Cooler than your standard wallpaper? Most definitely.

2. SHADOW CLOCK

Designed for Google Android wear, this watch face was developed by B-Reel in collaboration with Craig Ward. This seemingly magic experiment brings the power of time and the sun on your smartwatch. The outstanding visuals cast a beautiful shadow that rotates around the watches face. Not only is it a cool piece of art to carry around on your wrist, but it can even tell the time.

3. GOOGLE CAMERA ROBOT PROJECT

IOIO Camera Robot has a real-time camera from one Android device and can be controlled with another Android via wifi. Just slap one Google smartphone on an RC car and suddenly, you have a wifi spy cam that can be controlled from afar. How you will use this power is completely up to you, but please guys, spy responsibly.

4. INKSPACE

This creative experiment will bring out the creative artist within you and then convert that into three dimensions. It starts out as a simple drawing pad. Doodle away at your hearts delight but don;t stop there. Using the accelerometer on your Google Android device, those simple doodles can then be made into three-dimensional works of art.

5. SMART MIRROR

When you look at yourself in the mirror, most of you probably think you’re staring at something smart, but that’s hardly the case. The Smart Mirror Experiment, however, will turn your average mirror into a bigger version of your Google smartphone screen. See notifications, the time weather and more. Besides acting as a smart mirror, it will distract you from having to look at that horrendous reflection every day.
