Pierre Schmidt (aka drømsjel), an artist based in Berlin, manages to take viewers to different worlds with his art. Vintage photography is overlapped with illustrations to produce sketches that are emblematic of the subconscious.
His inspiration comes from classical and death metal music, as well as “film moods” and theories by German philosophers of the 19th century. These elements all somehow come together to create the masterpieces you see below:
