CANNYBOTS

Combine the most basic children’s games with robots and the world brings Cannybots. These smart toy robots are able to stay on track on a racing field, sumo wrestle, even help kids solve puzzles. This new technology is going to change the way kids play at home, taking it not entirely out of the tablet, but for the most part doing so.

Cannybots can be controlled via tablet or smartphone, and can be engineered to play one of many available games in the Cannybot platform. The robots are designed to follow their predetermined path, and they can even return to their set course if they manage to veer off. Kids can even design their own race tracks with black tape, and the robots will effortlessly follow along.

This new technology is designed to interest kids in robotics technology in a fun, immersive way that helps them see first hand the result of their direct controls that also brings friends and families together. The robot comes in a kit to be built by the kids themselves, to build and personalize and see their creations come to life.

The device comes with Cannytalk, an interactive app that teaches kids the basics of programming through a syntax-free programming interface that works like a chat talk to make it easier for kids to progress to more complex programming languages. Kids can even 3D print their own Cannybots at home, so the bots are built by kids, for kids to teach them the basics of programming, robotics and 3D printing.

Cannybots are already roaming around in schools in the UK, and soon enough they’re looking to expand to the world market.
