We believe Drake’s famous Hotline Bling music video is actually a hidden advertisement for Apple’s iPhone 5c and get the last few left off the shelves. Apple is just dying to get the last few iPhone 5c’s out of the market so they can proclaim the device truly discontinued.
From the first frame of the music video of Drake Hotline Bling Apple, fans like us can notice: it’s the exact same color scheme as the one that the iPhone 5c models come in. The exact same shades of blue, yellow and deep pastel pink are continuously flashing the screen.
Starting from the Hotline Bling single cover, where a phone number is displayed on a pink background, we noticed this is about a phone, as if the title didn’t give it away already. Apple surely contacted Drake in secret to push for this psychological compulsion and get the people who are still not iPhone users to buy at least the iPhone 5c, which was announced would be discontinued in 2015. But the phone hasn’t been able to disappear from the shelves.
The initial scene in the Drake Hotline Bling music video shows girls in a call center, another psychological queue to make people think of phones, cellphones and of Apple because of the flashing colors. Judging by the color scheme, we believe they can only call for the iPhone 5c, since all other models only come in white, black, gold or the newly introduced 6S.
All we have to say is: well played, Apple. We hope the iPhone 5c disappears for good with this secret advertisement on Drake Hotline Bling music video.
