Silent Partner Deals with Snoring A Little Differently
While there are quite a lot of products in the market that look to eliminate snoring, for example by widening nostrils to ease breathing or other more invasive treatments, Silent Partner uses noise cancellation to get rid of the noise in the immediate radius of the snorer’s face. The device is simple, the snorer need only apply it over the bridge of their nose, and once they begin to snore, Simple Partner sends a parallel sound sequence to cancel out the noise of the snore. This will keep both the snorer and the partner asleep for a full night.
The Drawbacks that Come with Silent Partner
It looks like Silent Partner would only work with a snorer that lies on their back and has little to no movement at night. Since the device comes with no adhesive, it looks like an active sleeper might easily let it slip from their noses, therefore foregoing the point of the device entirely.
Another problem that seems imminent with Silent Partner is the fact that while it does eliminate the noise, it shouldn’t be a permanent solution for snoring. It works at a 20 feet range, but if snoring is tied to a medical condition, it’s best to deal with it in another way.
