Chaotic Moon is producing temporary tattoos that double as fitness trackers. CEO Ben Lamm calls this ‘the new wearable’, and may even become the new trend. The tattoo labeled the Tech Tat, comes with a microcontroller and LED lights, and according to the promotional footage, it’s basically a FitBit, except on your skin.
Chaotic Moon Tech Tat Can Monitor Health
The Tech Tat can track stress levels, body temperature, blood pressure and heart rate, and can transfer all info to an app, all thanks to the kind of ink it’s made with. The stuff is made of electroconductive paint rather than ink, and it’s designed for people who want to track fitness but don’t depend on an accessory for it.
Essentially, the tattoo looks to gather any information that your doctor may need when you go in for your routine physical. It could even void the visit and send the information automatically to physicians. This could be the way health is monitored in the future, and it retains some style.
Tech Tat Works As A Warning Sign
The Tech Tat will be able to tell wearers when they’re falling sick, but only as long as users track their health appropriately. This could be especially useful for wearers that are teenagers or even children. Their health can be tracked by parents without the need for doctor’s appointments or even asking their children.
This Could Change Medicine
If developed appropriately, this technology could be developed to represent a great number of things, not just something that people will want to input in their body, but something that, though temporarily, keeps them healthy. Biometric tattoos could evolve and make health easier to monitor.
