Ned Ostojic has the most interesting job on the planet, he gets paid to identify what smells like crap. Ostojic has spoken out about the fact that science is allowing him and his colleagues to measure and analyze odors that smell like crap. This is certainly a very interesting job to have, but it is quite an intriguing story in its own right.
HOW OSTOJIC IS ABLE TO IDENTIFY WHAT SMELLS LIKE CRAP
Ostojic states that he has been working in the odor measurement and control field for the last couple of decades. He mentions how he is paid by pet food companies, tuna canneries, and other clients looking for someone to smell their putrid odors, to try and figure out what is causing the horrible odor. To say this is not a job for everyone is an understatement. However, Ostojic states that he uses a machine to do the work for him. He says that he uses what is called an olfactometer which detects and measures odor concentration and intensity. This has allowed him to do his job by having his ventilation system absorb the aroma instead of himself doing it. Ostojic has also stated that he plans on helping out many Michigan car factories with their paint fume odors, and also helping out Kentucky with their landfills with rotting garbage smells.
After this revelation has been revealed by Ostojic, himself and his colleagues may be heavily wanted by several companies. Determining why something smells like it does is undoubtedly a very tricky situation. However, with this machine that Ostojic and his colleagues use, it will be a lot easier for companies to determine certain smells. Bad odors can cause a lot of harm, not only to the environment, but also to the people around them. There are also those odors that some people despise, and some people love. However, those odors are more about personal preference than anything. Anyway, it is sliced up though, Ostojic has a job that requires him to find out what smells like crap, and that is amazing in and of its self.
