Microsoft Lumia 950 Not Much New To Offer

Microsoft

Microsoft has recently released their new Lumia 950 phone. The biggest feature that this device has is the fact that it debuts the Windows 10 operating system on mobile phones. However, outside of this, which is awesome, the Microsoft Lumia 950 does not offer much in the terms of innovation.

WHY THE MICROSOFT LUMIA 950 IS MORE OF THE SAME

The Lumia 950 has features that are very similar to other phones on the market. It has very similar hardware such as: a six-core processor, 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal storage. Microsoft also installed a camera into the Lumia and it is used and performed like various other camera phones. The screen resolution is 2560 x 1440 which is a very high resolution and matches up with the Samsung Galaxy’s screen resolution. The most disappointing factor to this phone is the design. It is a very simple and straightforward design and it also has a plastic back. This makes the phone feel cheap and makes the appearance that it is not top of the line material.

WINDOWS 10 IS THE MAIN SELLING POINT OF THE MICROSOFT LUMIA 950

There is no doubt that the biggest factor Microsoft was going for was the fact that this was going to be the fist mobile phone to have Windows 10. However, an online reviewer, stated that there is not much difference between the Windows 10 and the Windows 8.1 OS for phones. They said that the device is not used very differently than previous devices with Windows 8.1. Windows 10 is probably more noticeable for computers rather than phones.

MICROSOFT LUMIA 950 IS CERTAINLY NOT BAD

Even though this phone lacks innovation, that does not mean it is a bad phone. The hardware, the screen, and the operating system make this phone good, but there might not be a point to upgrade to it. The bottom line is, for the people who are looking for a new phone that offers stuff no one else does you might want to turn away. However, those looking for a good phone that do not currently have one might want to check it out.
