BETHESDA EXPANDS DOOM ALPHA BETA TO USERS
Before Bethesda announced this news, they were only allowing users who per-ordered Wolfenstein: The New Order to access and play the beta version. However, due to a number of requests, the company is now allowing any users to get in on the fun. All that has to be done by the users is to get to the beta before all spots are taken. The company states that the alpha will be available through December 6th. They announced that Xbox, PS4, and PC users could all get in on the fun for this alpha.
THE DOOM ALPHA HAS LIMITED CONTENT
Being that this is just a beta version, there are not too many aspects available to play. Bethesda states that players can hunt each other on a single map. They also mention that there is a death match option available which pits two teams of six characters against each other. The company also mentions how there is an agreement that the users who play this alpha must sign before playing. This is to prevent the users from spilling any of the details of the game to the public.
BETHESDA GETTING ONE STEP CLOSER TO FULL VERSION OF DOOM
The ultimate goal for the company is to release a full version of Doom with as few bugs as possible. They state that they are now one step closer to this goal. Releasing this beta to more people will also bring in more opinions for them. This will allow the company to make the final version of Doom even better.
