Dark Souls 3 is an upcoming video game in the Dark Souls franchise. The company, FromSoftware, has officially announced that this game will be available on April 12th of 2016. Now, the company has released both a trailer and a gameplay video. From the looks of it, the game looks like it is set inside Hell itself and may have more “Devil” in it than The Evil Within!
DARK SOULS 3 NEW GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE
The new gameplay from Dark Souls 3 revealed a brand new feature that allows users to differ up their attacks with their weapons. Basically, each weapon will now feature more than one attack. This will keep the gameplay fresher as well as giving users more replay value since they do not have to see the same attack over and over again. Overall, the combat and movement look much faster and more fluid. The gameplay footage also showed the user battling a tree boss that looks like it came straight from Hell. Think of that as a more demented version of Whispy Woods from Kirby!
IS DARK SOULS 3 PLAYED IN HELL?
The gameplay looks fluid and really fun, but the setting has you feeling like your in the underworld. The Evil Within has nothing on Dark Souls 3! Plenty of insane looking monsters were also revealed in the gameplay trailer and it should have fans of the series buzzing. Dark Souls 3 certainly looks like it will not be afraid to give the users a taste of a sadistic world filled with terrifying enemies.
ANTICIPATION SHOULD BE HIGH FOR DARK SOULS 3
The author of this article has never played a Dark Souls game, but this gameplay trailer looks awesome. This game looks like it is going to be really fun as it looks like it will succeed in capturing a world of death! April 12th certainly could not come quicker as this game looks like it will be an endless amount of mindless entertainment. Is there really anything better than that?
