Any modern game that gets released usually gets a focus on DLC. DLC is downloadable content that adds more features to video games. The creator of Mortal Kombat, Ed Boon, recently revealed a few characters that almost made their way to Mortal Kombat X.
MORTAL KOMBAT X ALMOST HAD THE TERMINATOR AND MICHAEL MYERS
Boon was recently speaking with IGN and he revealed that the company was considering many DLC characters to add to Mortal Kombat X. The two big names he said were being considered were indeed The Terminator and Michael Myers. However, in the end it was not meant to be for this to occur. Boon states that there were various reasons behind this decision. He mentions that they did not feel like it was a match and they could not come to terms with it. He did also say that they always explore more characters than they will actually use.
HOW COOL WOULD IT BE FOR THESE TWO TO BE IN MORTAL KOMBAT X
There might not be two characters that would fit a franchise more than these two would in Mortal Kombat X. The Terminator is a heartless machine that will kill anyone at any time. Michael Myers is also a killing machine that terrorizes everyone on Halloween. These two fit perfectly because Mortal Kombat is known for its brutality and blood. It is probably the most violent fighting game series of all-time, and these two characters are two of the greatest killing machines ever. The match was made in heaven, but Boon apparently did not think so.
ON A SIDE NOT, BATMAN AND CATWOMAN HAVE NO CHANCE AT MORTAL KOMBAT X EITHER
On top of Boon spilling this news, he also stated that it is highly doubtful to see a Batman character or Wonder Woman in this game. He stated how those characters would not fit into a brutal world like Mortal Kombat. Boon was just seeming to disappoint fan after fan with his latest news.
