Yoshinori Kitase, producer of the new Final Fantasy VII Remake, has declared that the came will be incomplete, saying that the game will come in multiple parts. While assuring players that the game will not be a sequel or a spin-off to the much loved installment of the series, they did say that it will be incomplete for the first release.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Will Make Fans Fall in Love with the Story Again
The game, developed by Square Enix, is making sure that the game remains loyal to both the series and the original Final Fantasy VII. It will feature three player parties with free switching between attackers. The ATB gauge will be present, but it won’t refill while idle. The fighting speed and pace will be similar to how it was for Dissidia Final Fantasy, though it won’t be as action packed. The developers are focusing on having a solid balance of action and strategy.
Cloud Strife Does Drag for the Remake
The first trailer of the remake was somewhat withdrawn from Square Enix’s usual style, and the response wasn’t entirely positive. One of the things that will remain, though, is Cloud cross-dressing for Don Corneo. The producers revealed that the scenario will be re-developed, but the basic plot point will remain. The team defined the latest trailer as just a starting point.
Why Will the Game Be Split into Different Parts?
The latest technology allows for games to have an amazing level of quality. Fusing this great tech and Final Fantasy VII couldn’t be fit into a single game. This is why the team of producers and developers have decided to separate it into different parts to give players the ultimate Final Fantasy experience.
Square Enix isn’t looking to make a condensed version of the game. Surely, there will be parts of the game that will be edited in or out for a variety of reasons, and they plan to throw in a few surprises for fans of the original series. Essentially, Final Fantasy VII is looking to be a formidable remake and a way to draw in new fans with the classic elements of the story.
