One of the most popular animes in the world right now is getting another game. This game will be released on a trifecta of PlayStation systems. The PS Vita, PS3, and PS4 will see a new Attack on Titan game sometime in February. However, this is only for Japan and no United States release date has been announced yet.
NEW ATTACK ON TITAN GAME ANNOUNCED FOR PLAYSTATION
Hopefully, this new Attack on Titan game for all of these PlayStation consoles is better than the previous 3DS version. The trailer released for this game gives a lot of hope that it will be. It looks smoother, more fun, and generally more detailed than the 3DS version.
WHAT ATTACK ON TITAN IS ALL ABOUT
Attack on Titan almost resembles Shadow of the Colossus in a way. For those of you who remember that game, the user had to climb up all of the colossi and find the weak points to kill them. Attack on Titan is somewhat similar as the user must take down the giants by slashing their necks. The trailer makes this look really fun to do, but the game must still find a way to not make this process repetitive. However, the big aspect for this game to do is make the maneuvering fluid.
THE 3DS ATTACK ON TITAN GAME WAS NOT GOOD
A few years ago, Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains was released for the 3DS in Japan. It was then released in the United States around a year and a half later. To say this game was a disappointment is an understatement. Many reviewers across the web gave this game a negative review. One, in particular, stated that the missions that the game had you do were both redundant and incredibly boring. They said that it felt like you were playing the same mission over and over again. The review also said that the combat was extremely dull and just overall limited. This game proved that no matter how popular a movie, TV show, or anime is the video game version is not always going to be good.
THE PLAYSTATION ATTACK ON TITAN LOOKS LOADS BETTER THAN THE 3DS VERSION
Although the new Attack on Titan game is not released yet, based on the trailer alone, it looks loads better than the previous 3DS version. In one month the people in Japan will be able to officially say if this is indeed the truth.
