6 Facts You didn’t Know About Fallout Clapway

The Fallout series has developed a cult following over the years. They are apocalyptic role-playing video games, and the series is still going strong today. However, even the most hardcore fans of the series may have been unaware about these following facts:

FACT 1

Does anyone remember the game Wasteland? If you do not it is OK, because it is a very old video game. It was a role-playing game that was released in 1988. The reason I point this out is because Fallout is actually the spiritual successor to Wasteland.

FACT 2

In Fallout 3, the weapon named Callahan’s Magnum is more than you think. This weapon is actually an exact replica of the gun that Clint Eastwood used in the Dirty Harry movies.

FACT 3

Staying with Fallout 3, if you locate the exact center of the map you will find a really cool Easter egg. When you do this, you will see a post that has a sign on it. The sign reads “TES-04”, and it is a reference to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion video game.

FACT 4

When you watch trailers, and endings, of the Fallout games you will notice that many times the protagonist is walking with Dogmeat. Well, this is not a coincidence because the games were inspired by the Mad Max universe.

FACT 5

Going back to Fallout 3, there is a quest that is named: The Power of the Atom. Basically, during this quest the player is given the option if they want to detonate the bomb instead of disarming it. Well, this option is actually not available in the Japanese version of this game. One can probably come to the conclusion why this was omitted.

FACT 6

Everyone is aware of the soft drink Nuka-Cola that can be found in the Fallout universe. Many also know that the creator’s name was John-Caleb Bradberton. However, did you know that this name is actually a morphed version of the real life names of both the Coca-Cola creator and the Pepsi Creator? The names of those two individuals are John Pemberton and Caleb Bradham, respectively.
