Companies like Uber and Lyft are the reasons why Taxi drivers may soon be jobless around the world. Unfortunately, it is just like everything else where technology ends up superseding the “classic” ways of life. Uber is not a bad company, but they are not doing taxi drivers any favors. Overall, many drivers have mentioned how Lyft is more enjoyable to work for than Uber. Many say that Lyft has a friendlier environment and that they make you feel appreciated. One Uber driver, Greg Muender, stated how not once did he get the impression that the company was happy to have him as a driver. He felt disrespected, and one of the most important aspects of a company is to treat their employees with gratitude.
