Whether it’s Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or Outlook Microsoft Office is a great software that is amongst the best in the world. The company is always updating this software, and their latest version is Office 365, and it is great for several reasons.
REASON 1: MORE THAN ONE DEVICE
On some of the previous versions of Microsoft Office, you could only install one version for one device. Well, with Office 365 you can install one version on up to five devices. This can include both Windows PC’s, and Mac PC’s. Not only this but the company has also hinted that this suite will be able to be downloaded on mobile devices.
REASON 2: APPS INCLUDED
Let’s face it, Microsoft has the best word-processing software, spreadsheet software, and slideshow software on the planet. Office 365 includes all of your favorites: Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint. However, it also includes OneNote and Outlook, but OneNote is not available on the Mac version.
REASON 3: TOUCH SCREEN DEVICES
Many people have switched to touch-screen devices, and for some reason behind my realm of imagination, they prefer them. That is not the point, though, the point is that Office 365 can be used on touch-screen devices that are running Windows 8.
REASON 4: SKYPE
When people subscribe to the Home Premium copy of Office 365, they will then receive 60 minutes a month of free Skype calls. This 60 minutes can be used to call landlines in supported countries, and you will not be charged.
REASON 5: THE PRICE
Office 365 is being sold for $99 a year for an entire household to install. This may seem like a lot of money, but it is actually quite decent. There are also versions of this software that can be purchased for one device only, much like previous versions. Office 365 is worth every penny, and it is especially convenient for business owners.
