Ever since the creation of Google Docs and Google Sheets, the world has become a lot easier. These two programs are great for people who need a real-time word processor and spreadsheet. Basically, Google Docs and Google Sheets allow multiple people to edit the same document at the same time. Well, just recently these two programs received a few, very handy, updates.
UPDATE 1 FOR GOOGLE DOCS AND GOOGLE SHEETS
This first update is specific for Google Sheets because Google Docs already possessed this feature. What the company added to their real-time spreadsheet is the ability to make comments. This was a huge addition, and it is one that was inevitable because Docs already had it. Commenting gives the users, who are partaking in the document, a great way to communicate with one another. Not only this but they can also be used for future references.
UPDATE 2 FOR GOOGLE DOCS AND GOOGLE SHEETS
Now, we turn to an update that is for both of these programs. The company decided to release a feature that would allow users to share files with other people, and then loop them into a discussion. The cool thing about this is Google will notify those who are commenting on what people do not have access to the file. This will make it much easier for users to get involved in conversations.
UPDATE 3 FOR GOOGLE DOCS AND GOOGLE SHEETS
The last update, and maybe the most convenient, is the addition of a button for commenting. So, as soon as users select text they will see a button that they can click on, and then they can comment. Adding this feature will allow users to keep their cursor on the text, and they won’t have to worry about the hassle of constantly moving it. This update, and the other two, should definitely make all avid Google users thrilled.
