Musical artists are always singing about the world, and technology has been touched on by many as well. 50 Cent and Justin Timberlake released a song entitled “She Wants It”, and it was amongst the very best technology songs that you will hear.
ARTIST NUMBER 1: SOPHIA
Sophia has a tremendous song about technology, and it is entitled “Technology Won’t Save Us”. Now, one can assume what this song is talking about from the title. Indeed, the lyrics talk about how people can’t change the way the world spins, and that they wonder where their lives have gone.
ARTIST NUMBER 2: WHITE TOWN
This next artist, White Town, actually released an entire album on technology. The album, Women in Technology, is most known for “Your Woman”. That particular song was the band’s lone top 40 single.
ARTIST NUMBER 3: VOIVOD
Voivod released an album, Killing Technology, and the first song was “Killing Technology”. This was an album that was released many years ago, but it still is great to listen to. The song basically illustrated that new inventions are constantly being made and that they are not always good for society.
ARTIST NUMBER 4: STEVE KILBEY
Steve Kibley is another artist who released an album that was devoted to technology. Although, his was devoted to technology, art, and man. This is really a great album to listen to, and if you have not then please do.
ARTIST NUMBER 5: 50 CENT AND JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE
As previously mentioned, 50 Cent and Justin Timberlake made a co-operative effort to release “She Wants It”. Much like other 50 Cent songs, it talks about women and sex. However, the chorus illustrates that they are tired of using technology. Justin Timberlake and 50 Cent were no doubt alluding to the fact that technology is taking over the world, and that it is becoming tiresome.
