The most intriguing planet in the world is not Earth, it is Mars. As the years have gone on NASA has continued to unravel secrets and images of the red planet. As many people know, the Curiosity Rover has been monitoring Mars for quite a while now. Well, NASA decided to release a video on YouTube on what the rover captured. The coolest feature to this video is that fact that the user can view the red planet themselves. Literally, the video is played and the user has full control over what they want to see. Also, the video itself showed some very amazing footage.
FIRST REASON WHY MARS IS AMAZING
When this video is first viewed it is incredible to look at how many dunes there are on Mars. The entire planet is basically engulfed by them, and it looks like the setting of a scary movie! From the looks of all of the dunes, it doesn’t look like someone could be living there.
SECOND REASON WHY MARS IS AMAZING
Outside of all of the dunes, there are a lot of mountains that can be seen. It is mostly dunes, but if you look far enough you can see shades of all of the mountains. It is truly something special to see, and it is hard to believe that you are actually looking at Mars.
THIRD REASON WHY MARS IS AMAZING
Right next to where the rover is parked from NASA, you will be able to see the last reason why the planet is so compelling. There is a ton of dark sand right next to the rover, and it distinguishes itself from everything else on the planet. Although this planet continues to be a mystery, it is awesome to know that NASA is giving us footage that we never thought was possible.
