One of the few remaining states in the Unites States to still have a ban on anal sex is Michigan.
Many other states deiced to drop this law when the Supreme Court noted that it is unconstitutional, and thus they have eliminated it. This is not the only sexual activity that is prohibited in Michigan, either. Not only are people not allowed to have anal sex, but they also can’t have sexual activity with an animal. As far as the latter goes, that is something that no person alive should ever do. Now that you know these two laws, here are a few facts about them.
FIRST FACT: YOU CAN GOT TO JAIL FOR A VERY LONG TIME
The newest bill that has passed the Michigan Senate contains the punishment that one can expect if they have anal sex, or sex with an animal. The bill states that anyone who commits this abominable crime against nature, either with an animal or with mankind, is guilty of a felony. Considering that this is banned in Michigan, there is no surprise that is is considered a felony. However, the surprising part is how long the felon could be sent to prison, which the bill states is up to 15 years. Michigan is not fooling around with either of these “abominations”, as the bill calls them. So, if you are guilty of this crime in Michigan then be aware that they are not going to take it easy on you.
SECOND FACT: THE UPDATED ANIMAL CRUELTY LAW
The entire reason that the state frowns upon having sex with an animal is because they want to protect them from abuse. Well, the new law that Senator Rick Jones introduced is a part of a package of laws that protect animals from abuse. Jones also noted that he wanted to keep the language intact in the bill because if not he says his constituents would have blocked the animal rights reforms.
