It seems like Twitter is finally ready to freshen up their service, and they have added a feature named timeline. It’s not like we are saying that Twitter is terrible, but the company needed to add something to give it more luster. Well, they have accomplished just that and here are a few cool things about this new timeline.
FIRST COOL ASPECT: YOU CAN MAKE IT HOW YOU WANT
Probably the best part about the new Twitter timeline is that you can customize it however you please. The entire point of this feature is so you can highlight the tweets that you want. So, if you are following someone that you have a lot of interest in then you can make them a primary “highlight”.
SECOND COOL ASPECT: CATCH UP ON THE BEST TWEETS
Sometimes, you follow so many people on Twitter that it is impossible to follow all of their feeds. Not only this but sometimes you worry that you are missing the best tweets. Well, as the senior manager of Twitter, Mike Jahr, points out this will no longer be a problem with the new timeline. Jahr notes that sometimes users follow thousands of people, and they miss the most important tweets. He then expressed his joy in introducing the timeline because it will help you catch up on all of the best tweets.
THIRD COOL ASPECT: IT FRESHENS UP TWITTER
Due to the fact that there are several other great services for keeping up with friends, news, and celebrities, Twitter needed to freshen up. They have been around for a long time, and they have also had great success. However, everyone needs a good refresher now and then, and it was a perfect time for the company to do so. This new timeline feature sure looks like it is going to be great, and it finally gives people a reason to continue to use Twitter.
