It seems like there is another company that hates Adobe Flash. Google recently announced that they were going to stop accepting advertisements that were made by them. Officially, they will ban it as of June this year, and then it will be completely dead by the start of 2017. This is no surprise because other major companies, like Amazon, have already decided to do this. This plug-in has been known to have security and performance issues in the past, and now it looks like Google is getting out before they are buried too deep. There had to be reasons why they did this, though, and here are a few that make sense.

FIRST REASON THAT THEY ARE KILLING ADOBE FLASH

Outside of the performance issues of this plug-in, Google noted how they are encouraging advertisers around the world to use HTML5. The company said this in a blog post, and they also stated how companies could use this plug-in for their DoubleClick Digital Marketing, Google Display Network, and AdWords divisions. Overall, the company said that using HTML5 will completely enhance the browsing experience, and that is something that Adobe Flash failed at. At this rate, Adobe Flash is not going to be around much longer for anybody to use.

SECOND REASON THAT THEY ARE KILLING ADOBE FLASH

I am not saying that Google and Apple are buddies, but Steve Jobs was noted for hating Adobe Flash. Jobs, the former CEO of Apple, went on record as to saying that the plug-in had performance, reliability, and security issues. So, if Steve Jobs says something like this then you better believe that Google knew about it. So, in short, he got the word out on how bad this plug-in was. As soon as the 2017 year begins, Adobe Flash and Google will officially be through.
