The developer behind the well known Fallout 4, Bethesda, has officially announced the details of the expansions for Fallout 4. They revealed that three are in the works right now, Far Harbor, Wasteland Workshop, and Automatron. Unfortunately, these are not going to be free but I don’t think that would surprise anyone.
FIRST EXPANSION PACK FOR FALLOUT 4: AUTOMATRON
The first expansion pack on tap for Fallout 4 is the Automatron pack. This is going to be launching in March, and will be $10. Basically, in this pack the Mechanist character will release an army of evil robots into the post-apocalyptic world of Boston. The players will then have to track them down, and then they can use them to build their own robots. Among the customization settings are mixable limbs, weapons, abilities, and armor.
SECOND EXPANSION PACK FOR FALLOUT 4: WASTELAND WORKSHOP
Wasteland Workshop is going to be coming out a month after the previous one, and will be $5 cheaper. Basically, as the official description states, players will be able to set and design cages to capture live creatures. Two of the possible creatures listed are Deathclaws and raiders. It sounds like players are going to have a good amount of choices, as well. With this pack, players will be able to have their creatures battle each other, and they can even tame them.
THIRD EXPANSION PACK FOR FALLOUT 4: FAR HARBOR
Now, we come to the most expensive pack out of the three. The Far Harbor expansion, coming in May, will cost $25 but also has the most content. Far Harbor will allow players to take part in a mission from the Valentine’s Detective Agency, and they must find both a secret colony of synths and a young woman. Bethesda did actually state that this would feature the largest landmass for an add-on that they have ever made. It sounds like you will get your money’s worth with this expansion.
