With recent photos of the new Samsung Galaxy S7 being leaked, some are now a little worried about it.
I am not talking about performance or specifications, but by some of the things that the photos revealed. This new phone is set to be released this month, and there is no doubt that it will create a great deal of revenue. However, if you are planning on purchasing this new Samsung Galaxy then you need to know some major disappointments. These are not going to make the phone unbearable to use, but they are still head scratching moves that make little sense.
THE FIRST DISSAPOINTMENT: LACK OF USB TYPE-C
One of the leaked photos of the Samsung Galaxy S7 showed the bottom of the device. What you see is a micro-USB port, but there is no indication of a USB Type-C. This is extremely confusing because previous smartphones like the Lumia 950 and Nexus 5X, have this USB port. You would think that Samsung would want this on their phone because it is the best USB port available. Wouldn’t they want to give their customers only the best? Apparently, the company did not deem this a necessary feature, and that is something that I am still trying to figure out.
THE SECOND DISSAPOINTMENT: THE DESIGN IS VERY FAMILIAR
Alongside the photos that were leaked, a video promoting the Samsung Galaxy S7 was also released. The handset in the video certainly resembles the design of the S6 Edge. Now, this is not saying that the S6 Edge had a bad design. Instead, this is saying that the newer version should have an improved design. Many people will probably not care that much, but it is a little bit of a disappointment. Again, these two disappointments are not going to make this phone awful. It could still be really great, but you still need to be aware of these flaws.
