2 Steps to Send Artworks to NASA then to an Asteroid Clapway

For all of the artists out there, are you proud of the material that you produce on a daily basis? If you are, and even if you aren’t for that matter, then NASA is going to make you happy. Later in the year, they are going to be sending their OSIRIS-REx spacecraft to visit the asteroid known as Bennu. So, what on Earth does this have to do with art? Well, NASA has announced that they would like to send various forms of art on it. Basically, they will take the art collected by the fans and save them on a chip to be sent out to the spacecraft. If you want to do this, then all you have to do is these two steps.

FIRST STEP TO SEND YOUR ARTWORK TO VISIT THE BENNU ASTEROID

NASA has announced some guidelines for all of the people interested in doing this. They say that they will accept any piece of art, such as a graphic, poem, short video, song, photograph, and sketch, that reflects what it means to be an explorer. So, all you have to do is come up with the best piece of art you can think of that would illustrate what it means to explore. Use your imagination, and NASA will definitely consider sending your artwork up with their spacecraft next to the Bennu asteroid.

Now that you know the guidelines that NASA is looking for, you are probably wondering how and where to submit it. All you have to do is submit your artwork through Instagram or Twitter, and you have until March 20th to do so. If you have any other concerns about what to do, NASA has their full guideline list on their WeTheExplorers website.
