Sonic is the epitome of something that starts off amazing but turns into utter dog crap. Nobody would argue against the fact that he is one of the most legendary gaming figures ever. However, I can’t think of a franchise that has produced more horrible games. Back in the day, this franchise was pumping out classics like Sonic the Hedgehog 3. A lot has changed over the years, and here are the three absolute worst games that you could ever play from this franchise.
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2006
Be honest, as soon as you clicked this article you knew you were going to see this game. If I had to describe this game in full detail, then I probably would get fired for using too much vulgarity. Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 is that bad of a game, and it is actually embarrassing. Good luck finding another video game that is as glitchy and buggy as this one. It is downright unbearable most of the time, and rarely will you even have a second of fun. Trust me, stay away from this game at all costs.
SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG
I have always thought that Shadow was better than Sonic. He is almost like Vegeta, and he is more of a boss! However, he sure didn’t look good in his own game. Shadow the Hedgehog had horrific voice acting, incredibly bad controls, and boring levels. To put how bad Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 is in perspective, Shadow the Hedgehog is a better video game.
SONIC AND THE BLACK KNIGHT
Could we just run down the genius who thought it would be a good idea to add swordplay in this franchise? This was indeed done in Sonic and the Black Knight, and it was done via the Wii remote. For starters, I have never been too fond of the Wii games that used motion control to attack. Then, when you consider that this blue mascot has nothing to do with swords you have a recipe for disaster.
