1. USERS CAN DITCH THE WIRES

Pretty much every aspect of previous iPhone’s was wireless, that is, except the charging apparatus. Rumor has it that Apple is developing a form or wireless charging that will leave your iPhone 7 free to roam without an outlet nearby. All on will need is a charging mat, which many have seen on several of Apple’s rivals.

2. NO WIRES MEANS NO HEADPHONE JACK

This one may seem more like a negative than a positive, but Apple is convinced users won’t miss their headphone jack. Images of an iPhone 7 case have emerged and they confirm that there will be no 3.5mm headphone jack. Not to worry, Apple says they will provide wireless headphones. For a cost, of course.

3. iPHONE 7 WILL HAVE A PANIC MODE

In conjunction with the iPhone 7’s Touch ID fingerprint sensor, Apple wants to add a panic mode. Any unwanted guests will be faced with an invisible wall of panic. Any data will be inaccessible to the user until it is unlocked. Considering their recent fight with the FBI, this proves Apple is serious about safety.

4. NEWEST iPHONE WILL ALSO BE THE THINNEST

This should come as no surprise to anyone. Apple is on a constant diet, which each generation of every product seemingly getting slimmer and slimmer. While some argue that this has little to do with functionality, the iPhone 7 will continue this trend. Users can expect an iPhone between 6mm and 6.5mm thin, compared to a 6.9mm on the iPhone 6. Apple has assured us that this seemingly brittle design will actually be stronger than ever.

5. NEW LOOK CAMERA WILL BE SCRATCH RESISTANT

Previous generations of the iPhone had the cameras protruding from its casing. Users were complaining that this exposed to scratching and other damage. Apple heard the pleas of their minions and have responded violently. The 7 camera lens will sit right in line with its body, no longer stretching across the surface, thus complying with Apple’s famous, high-quality design standards.
