Why on Earth would you drive yourself around when you can just let Lyft and Uber do it for you? I do understand, though, if this is something you would never do. However, after you read these five things you may consider doing so.

Even though you might not think it, they can be cheaper than driving yourself around. One woman, who posted her story on the internet, said she used them for a month to get to wherever she needed. She noted how she saved more than $100 that month!
2. INSURANCE CAN BE VERY MESSY
People who work for these two driving companies, even if it is not full time, are considered a delivery service because they offer rides for money. So, in the eyes of car insurance companies, this means that they need commercial insurance. However, people continue to rely on personal policies to cover it.
3. LYFT AND UBER ARE GOOD EMPLOYERS
The same woman I mentioned before also asked each Lyft and Uber driver a question when receiving a ride. She asked if they liked working for the company and if they treated them fairly. Overall, she said that the drivers were extremely satisfied with working for them.
4. LYFT AND UBER ARE VERY CONVENIENT
These two companies are extremely convenient, as you can hitch a ride from your doorstep within five minutes, but it still doesn’t replace the feeling of owning a car. This is something to keep in mind, but sometimes it is nice to let someone else drive your places.
5. LYFT AND UBER ARE VERY SIMILIAR
Due to the fact that, surprisingly enough, a lot of drivers drive for both Lyft and Uber, they are very similar. The experience you get, according to many people who have rode in both, when riding in either car is practically identical. The only real thing you should consider when deciding which one to ride in is the price.
